Amcrest 2K IP3M-941 Vs Arlo Vs Hikvision
Amcrest introduces various models of newer features security camera, upgrading older models to feature better technology. Amcrest IP2M-841 is one of most popular home security cameras with remote viewing capability via mobile devices easily in clear and sharp image detail. Today, Amcrest introduces newer version of IP3M-941 with 2K resolution.
What this product does
Amcrest IP3M-941 is designed physically similar with its predecessor Amcrest IP2M-841, see also how good is the older model compared with Foscam R2 and Vimtag. There are some upgrading features for the new version of IP3M-941 model including higher resolution, 3D noise reduction (3D NR) for much better image detail instead of 2D in the previous version and with built-in dual band wifi adapter for wireless connection to your dual band wireless router.
2K resolution
The IP3M-941 is built with Sony image sensor and is powered by Ambarella processor delivering video recording with 2K resolution, it’s around 2304×1296 pixels @ 20 frame per second (fps), no stuttering issue with this 20 fps actually. Dual band
The good thing with the new version is the dual band support. See that lots of wireless routers today come with dual band wifi network, including wifi routers based on wireless AC technology such as Netgear Nighthawk X4s, Asus RT-AC5300 and still more. You can select the clean 5GHz band for video data transmission instead of 2.4GHz band that is prone to signal interference.
Like Amcrest IP3M-941 with dual band support, Reolink is also offering the same dual band technology for its new products – RLC-410WS and 411WS 4MP wireless outdoor. The last two products are designed with weatherproof housing for outdoor placement with bullet model , similar model with what Amcrest offers in its IP3M-943 wifi outdoor bullet model.

All other features are almost the same with the predecessor model including the same 90 degree wide viewing angle, 32 ft range of the night vision, remote Panning and Tilting and digital zooming and also storage option as well as cloud storage.
