3. Amcrest vs Hikvision Bullet Camera
Ip8m-2496 is the only Amcrest bullet model product with a 4k resolution, compared with Hikvision and Lorex which are very diverse with 4k resolution variants. So we choose one of the bullet model Hikvision products with 4k resolution that is similar to the technical spec.
We take the Hikvision DS-2CD2T85FWD-I5 as a comparison product because the spec is almost similar considering they are not equipped with optical zoom lenses, only digital zoom as in general.
Almost both camera models have the same spec, the same resolution with slightly difference in frame rate, both are also not equipped with built-in microphone for audio, only slightly different in field of view angle. Amcrest has only one choice of focal length, while Hikvision provides lens with different focal length options, not varifocal length actually.

4. Amcrest vs Hikvision PTZ Camera
The fourth featured product to compare is PTZ camera model, this time we take a new and most popular PTZ camera from Amcrest, the Amcrest ip4m-1053 with 2k resolution and 12x optical zoom. While we take Hikvision’s new product (Hikvision DS-2DE4A425IW-DE) with rich features specs compared to Amcrest. The resolution is slightly superior to Amcrest even though the frame rate is the same. The main difference is the use of varifocal lenses, different focal length ranges that produce different optical zoom factors, as well as different viewing angles range. Besides that, Amcrest’s night vision distance is twice as far as Hikvision which is supposed to be with a large optical zoom factor accompanied by a longer night vision too.
