Like most PTZ outdoor security camera models, Annke cz400 is designed to be mounted on the ceiling, or hung on a protected pole / tower so that it can provide a wide viewing area of 360 degrees endless of your property.
What this product does
Annke cz400 is a ptz camera to monitor your property with a medium area, great for front yards of home or small offices. This product can monitor your property 360 degree you can control, and with 4x optical zoom capability and color night vision in ambient light and one good feature is face detection so it only detects human movement.
You can compare with Reolink flagship product in ptz camera (RLC-423) doesn’t feature AI human detection, but motion detection in general.
Annke CZ400 is a 2k ptz security camera, twice as high resolution as standard 1080p resolution security camera which most PTZ cameras are designed, however today you can find many new ptz cameras with higher resolution than standard 1080p even up to 4k resolution ptz camera.

Standard cameras cannot provide a good image when challenging a situation where the strong light and the dark shadow exist in the camera frame, so the resulting image tends to be over exposed or under exposed. For this reason, the WDR (wide dynamic range) feature is needed to produce balanced compensation between light and dark. Annke with 120dB true wdr is a combination of hardware and software WDR feature, while Reolink rlc-423 only comes with digital wdr (aka HDR) feature. Of course the result is a more natural camera with the true WDR feature than the HDR.
Harsh Environment Protection
One feature that a camera should have for outdoor needs is weatherproof. Both Annke and reolink cameras here are equipped with solid aluminum metal housing with ip66 rated weatherproof. However, Annke cz400 is equipped with more solid protection including the IK10 vandal-proof, TVS 4,000 V lightning protection, surge protection, and voltage transient protection.
Annke cz400 is ideal for outdoor harsh environment such as mining and marine projects. However, the 4x optical zoom is not enough to cover long distance areas. See also Dahua and Hikvision PTZ cameras that come with 20x and 30x optical zoom.
