Dji Phantom 4 Pro Quad Copter Photography Drone
Dji Phantom 1 is already absolute, and you can experience the new Dji Phantom 4. It’s a quad copter photography drone with 4K resolution wide angle camera. Three models are available, the Phantom 4 standard, Pro and Pro plus.
As with the DSLR camera where you normally shoot your model with the shooting angle to the extent of your hand can shoot, with drone photography you can shoot your model or your outdoor action sport from the height in high angle shooting where your hand might not be able to do it.
With the drone the camera can be brought at an altitude that can be controlled via remote controller. It’s ideal for landscape outdoor sport action photography.
Dji Phantom 4
Dji Phantom 1 has been absolute, and you can find the latest version of Phantom 4 quad copter photography drone. Phantom 4 can be grouped in three models:
- Standard Phantom 4
- Phantom 4 Pro
- Phantom 4 Pro + (plus)
What are the differences between the three models?
All the technical spec for the aircraft each of the model is the same. The standard Dji Phantom 4 and Pro don’t come with standard remote controller with the display. You require Android iPad or any large screen Smart phones to act as the remote controller display. The Pro plus comes with built-in convenience remote controller display.
Five-directions of obstacle sensing
The another difference between the standard and the Pro, the Dji Phantom 4 standard comes with forward looking obstacle avoidance only. On the other hand, both Phantom 4 Pro and Pro plus comes with five directions of obstacle sensing, high resolution stereo vision sensors at the rear and front sides. In additions, the infrared sensing systems placed on the left and right sides of the aircraft.
The high resolution of the onboard camera brought by the drone is indispensable because the high angle you need for shooting action photography from the height requires the result of wide angle landscape details with large megapixel image.
All the three models are equipped onboard camera with a 1.0 inch 20MP CMOS sensor that allows you shoot with video recording up to 4K resolution @60 fps, and the still photography with burst mode @14 fps.
As a nutshell, take a look at the following main features.
- Controlling the aircraft is easy with its GPS technology for auto take off and auto return home
- All the camera controlling is easy and is enabled by the app
- The camera is built with 1.0 inch CMOS sensor with 20MP ultra HD 4K resolution
- Gimbal stabilization technology with hover function to help you capture clean and smooth footage
- Software utility Dji director Software with built-in video editor to add music, text and more to the videos
- One direction front obstacles sensor for standard Dji Phantom 4 and for both Phantom Pro / Pro plus they come with five directions obstacle sensors
- Dual coding H.264 / H.265 video compression format
Again, the Dji Phantom 4 Pro and Pro plus versions supports five-directions of obstacle sensing with H.265/H.264 compression format. Remote controller with built-in screen applied to Phantom 4 Pro plus integrates an upgraded Lightbridge HD video transmission system that adds 5.8 GHz transmission Support.
All the three quad copter photography drone models can record video with dual coding H.265 and H.264 compression format. H.265 compression format technology is capable of doubling data compression ratio up to 50~60%, mostly used in recent large scale 64 or 32 Channel H.265 NVR system such as GW Security or USG NVR system with connected cameras that are H.265 compliant. For example, USG 5MP H.265 PTZ camera.
