Eufy floodlight cameras
So far, Eufy has released two floodlight camera models and one newly launched product that will likely become favorite product in the floodlight camera line with its ptz feature.
So there are three floodlight camera models that Eufy has released:
- Eufy floodlight cam
- Eufy floodlight cam 2
- Eufy floodlight cam 2 Pro

All the three models come with LED array floodlights and the good thing is that you can adjust the brightness up to full brightness level and down up to certain level of brightness that disable motion detection.

Eufy vs Arlo floodlight camera
Netgear so far introduces one floodlight camera – the Arlo pro 3 with 2k resolution. This should be comparable with eufy floodlight camera 2 which also comes with the same 2k resolution. We don’t compare eufy cam 2 pro since this product comes with ptz camera.
As reference you can use table 2 below for spec comparison between eufy and arlo floodlight cameras to help you make up your mind which one is suitable to meet your business.
Arlo designed the floodlight with a single led array integrated with the camera with a stylist model, you can adjust the floodlight (and the camera) on its axis left and right down and up. Unlike Arlo, eufy comes with two floodlights, each on an axis you can rotate to the desired viewing angle as needed.
Besides, with eufy floodlights you can adjust the brightness up to full 2500lm as needed via your mobile device with the app, and drag it down at a certain low level of brightness it will disable motion detection camera.
Zoom and tracking
One thing that makes a unique difference with Arlo is its motion detection with tracking and zooming in on the moving person who entering your customized motion detection zone. Eufy does not provide tracking and zooming features, but eufy cam 2 pro does minus auto zoom.
Eufy floodlight camera comes with built-in 4GB memory on board to store any event triggered video, not for live video recording. It’s an advantage so you don’t need to subscribe cloud storage.
On the other hand, with Arlo floodlight camera you don’t have local memory storage. However you can connect to compatible Arlo hub station for local memory storage if you have one or you can opt to subscribe Arlo cloud storage with smart services.
One major difference between Arlo and eufy is the battery power on Arlo. With wifi connection, Arlo continues its trade mark tradition as wire-free camera. Of course, the use of floodlight ON will draw quite a lot of power. For this reason, Arlo provides an outdoor magnetic charging option that allows the floodlight brightness to increase up to 3000 lumens.
Now, read the comparison table more detail below to help you make up your mind which one to choose.
