One of the advantages of this lorex fusion 8 channel system kit is the active deterrent feature applied both on the NVR system and also on the security cameras, which if enable can expel uninvited guests entering your business property and prevent further criminal acts.

Lorex N8442

Lorex N8442 is 8-channel NVR system that supports up to 8MP security camera and it comes with built-in 8-port POE switch you can connect up to 8 POE security cameras. However, if you need to connect wifi cameras, you can add up to 2 wifi security cameras and 6pcs POE cameras.

Video resolution

What you can expect from a security camera is the wider coverage and more details. Reolink d1200 is the first line of reolink camera with 12MP video resolution to cover larger area with more detail. Video resolution is smooth with 20 frame rate per second (fps).

When you compare with lorex e893ab, reolink is superior with 12MP resolution as opposed to lorex e893ab which is only 8MP @15 fps. Color night vision

Smart features

Both Lorex E893AB and reolink d1200 feature better motion detection with human or vehicle detection. Lorex E893AB and lorex fusion system with smart motion detection plus gives you option to detect face or just human and vehicle to trigger the alerts.

Definitely with face detection provides better accuracy, considering that the camera must capture the human face that facing the camera to trigger the alerts. Compare with human detection in general, when the camera detects someone passing by, the camera will trigger the alert.

Reolink d1200 doesn’t feature face detection, however human and vehicle detection only. Lorex with smart motion detection plus feature gives you more accurate alerts than standard human detection.
