The advantages of a camera with higher resolution up to 4k are that your camera provides sharper and more detailed image quality. And when you zoom in to capture closer images it does not lose much detail image quality. Likewise, the 4k webcam provides higher detailed image quality and larger image size.
Nexigo vs Logitech 4k Webcam
Nexigo and Logitech provide few models of 4k webcam that you can choose which one is suitable to meet your needs. We’ll discuss these 4k webcam models offered by these two vendors and you can decide which one is suitable for your business.
Nexigo 4k webcams
Previously there were three 4k webcam models offered by Nexigo: Nexigo n690; N950 and N950 Pro. The last two models are actually the same except minor difference with the inclusion of remote control. And today you can find new product additions with 4k resolution including new Nexigo n970p, and Nexigo N990 PTZ webcam. We don’t discuss the PTZ model webcam but the USB bar webcam models.
Let’s start comparing the first two products.
Nexigo N690 vs N950
N690 and n950p are two of the three 4k webcams models offered by Nexigo. Table 1 below shows you spec comparison between Nexigo n690 and n950p (the pro version of n950).

5x digital zoom
The main difference is that n950 (and also n950p) supports 5x digital zoom with the inclusion of zoom button on the upper side of the webcam bar. However, both n950 and the pro version can support the digital zoom feature @1080p resolution. It is reasonable since the feature is digital zoom as opposed to optical zoom. You can see later that Logitech 4k webcams can also do digital zoom at full HD too with digital zoom.
Larger image sensor
The two models n690 and n950 have different image sensor size. The N950 has a slightly larger image sensor than the N690, so the resolution is slightly higher and it is Sony image sensor which is known for its better performance than the CMOS image sensor in general.
Ok, more detail you can read on the following table 1 below.

Table 3 below shows you spec and feature comparison table between these two 4k webcam series, nexigo n970 vs n950.

AI-powered auto frame
One of the main differences between the nexigo n950 and n970 is the AI feature with face detection capability. This additional AI-powered auto frame feature is very useful for conference call needs in a group of meeting participants where each participant gets auto focus with face detection feature. You don’t need to bother to set manual focus to each participant in the meeting.
For conference room needs, this AI-powered frame is very helpful. This feature is introduced to several new models from Nexigo including the Nexigo N990 PTZ webcam.
This newer model of Nexigo n970 is ideal for conference room webcam, one of most popular webcams for conference room with multiple meeting participants.

The third model is different with magnetic base which is designed specifically for Apple Pro Display XDR for easy to mount on the top of the display.

Now, let’s compare Nexigo 4k pro webcam (Nexigo n950p) with Logitech Brio 4k webcams.
Nexigo vs Logitech 4k webcam
Technically, these two products can be compared through the following table 3 below. Note the price difference between these two products is around $30 in the retail stores. Note that each item of each row in bold is an advantage.
View angle
Nexigo n950p provides one view angle only, compared to Logitech brio which provides three options either 78° or 90° wide view angle to capture wider room, or you may select to capture only head and shoulders with 65° view angle. However with n970, you have adjustable view angle ranging from 25 up to 90 degree view angle.

5x digital zoom
Both models provide 5x digital zoom with full HD quality, of course because both are digital zooms that use a software process by cropping the 4k image size into a full HD resolution image. Except with the optical zoom feature, the image quality has a fixed resolution. Both Nexigo n950p and Logitech brio provide digital zoom options.
What about nexigo n970? You have 10x digital zoom, much better than both n950 and brio.
Frame rates
One of the advantages of the Logitech brio over the Nexigo 4k webcams is the option of setting the webcam resolution with higher frame rate of up to 90 fps (frame per second). With the same 4k resolution, both webcams can only apply @30 fps settings.

With Logitech brio you can still use @60 fps frame rate settings with resolutions up to full HD (1080p), you can even use higher frame rates up to @90 fps up to 720p resolution. The higher the fps the smoother the motion of the video performance, and the higher the resolution the sharper and more detailed the image quality is.
