What this product does
Secuplug is an affordable 4.5 inch mini size PTZ camera with metal construction housing which is ideal for outdoor with IP66 rated weatherproof.
Secuplug 1080p is like other PTZ HD camera with capability of panning endless 360 degree horizontally and tilting up to 90 degree vertically. It’s a middle speed PTZ HD camera with 10x optical zoom. See also top 5 IP camera with zoom.
It is ideal for your businesses or homes and if you have NVR system in place with Onvif compliant, you can connect the camera to the system since it is Onvif 2.2 compliant device. Connect to any HD NVR system such as Hikvision, HDView and still more.
Unfortunately this product doesn’t support POE like those outdoor POE PTZ camera like Amcrest IP2M-880 and Lorex or USG 5MP PTZ camera. With POE support you can run a single cable for both video data and power using UTP Cat 5e or Cat 6 cabling.

Both Secuplug and Lorex record in 1080p HD resolution while Foscam is slightly lower resolution (960p). With standard HD 1080p resolution the optical zoom will be taken account. All the three products offer optical zoom but different zoom factor. See that Lorex allows you zoom in with two types of zoom both optical (12x) and digital zoom (16x), when 12x optical zoom is not enough you still can utilize digital zoom for much longer distance object to capture with clear and sharp detail. Typically digital zoom produces image with noise result, however Lorex with its technology can reduce the noise significantly.

The three models have different connection types, wired non-POE, wireless and wired POE connection to the network. Secuplug comes with wired only connection for data and separate power line connection (12V), it doesn’t support POE.
Foscam comes with two options of either wired (10/100Mbps auto MDI/MDIX) or wireless (802.11b/g/n) connection. Lorex supports POE+ (30v), assure that the switch is 30v POE supports (802.3af).
