What this product does

This product is like other wifi outdoor camera in general, the weatherproof housing for harsh environment protection to keep delivering crisp image detail in 1080p resolution @30 fps real time rate, same resolution as its competing product Ezviz Ezguard wifi camera. For indoor usage and higher resolution you may consider Amcrest ip4m-1051 which is double resolution as Kasa KC200.

Dual band AC

TP-link Kasa outdoor is equipped with dual band adapter with wireless ac (802.11a/b/g/n/ac) technology with wifi speeds of up to 433Mbps @5Ghz band ideal connecting to wireless ac router such as Netgear AC2200 router, Asus RT-AC86u or best connection is to TP-link Kasa smart wifi router.

Motion & audio detection

With built-in Mic. and speaker you can make two way communication to the camera any time the motion and audio detection trigger the alerts. And the other feature you may like is the 80dB activated siren to drive away the intruders approaching your property. Ezviz ezguard is also featuring 80dB siren, however ezviz comes with activated strobe light in addition of siren.

Free cloud storage

TP-link Kasa KC200 doesn’t come with memory slot for local storage, however TP-link offers free two days cloud storage you can live view or playback the video footage in the last two days time. You can apply cloud storage plan options with reasonable price should you require longer retention.
